FLOYD COUNTY, KY (WSAZ)--An eastern Kentucky family is asking for help in finding a family member missing since Thursday.

Family members say 62- year old Sampie Sparkman left his nephew's house in the Garrett area of Floyd County and was on his way to see his daughter in Somerset, but he didn't show up there.

Officers say Sparkman was last seen at a Marathon Gas Station near the Knott-Perry County line, but relatives aren't sure if the man in surveillance video is him.

They say Sparkman has no health problems other than a stroke he suffered years ago.

Sparkman was driving a 2000 S10 four by four extended cab black truck, with Floyd County plates. His license plate number is 897-HRG.
Anyone with information should call the Floyd County Sheriff
