MAN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- West Virginia State Police say someone found a pipe inside a school bus that was parked at the garage in Logan County.

It was found around 7:30am Thursday morning right across from the football field at Man High School.

Troopers say they believe the pipe could be some type of explosive device. We're told a bomb squad is on the scene investigating the device.

Investigators say the bus driver did his daily check of the bus, but he didn't find the device until after his morning route. At first, we're told the driver thought it was a flashlight, but then he saw "pipe bomb" on the side of it and called police.

School administrators tell us all the area schools are open and they don't believe any students are in danger.

Troopers detonated the device. They have yet to determine if it was some type of bomb.
