CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) -- Twenty-two recreational trail projects in West Virginia are receiving federal assistance.
Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin presented $1.2 million in grants for the projects Monday.
The largest grant of nearly $116,000 was awarded for repairs to the Decker's Creek Trail in Monongalia and Preston counties. Projects are being funded in a total of 18 counties.
The state Division of Highways administers the federal Recreational Trails Program for the state.
