CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Table games license fees from three West Virginia racetracks have generated $6.5 million.
Lottery Director John Musgrave said the Wheeling Island Racetrack and Gaming Center and Mountaineer Racetrack and Gaming Resort in Chester each paid $2.5 million in license fees.
The tracks paid their first $1.5 million partial-year fees one year ago.
Musgrave said Tri-State Racetrack and Gaming Center in Cross Lanes on Tuesday received its first $1.5 million partial-year license to operate.
Under law, license fees are dedicated to in-home health care for seniors and administered by the West Virginia Bureau of Senior Services.
