New Health Board Director

Members of the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department can now focus on hiring a permanent director.
That's because they hired Dr. Laura Gateley as its interim director.
Gateley's contract states she will work six to twelve hours a week and be paid $28-hundred a month.
The board also agreed she will be paid more if there is an emergency requiring her to work more than the twelve hours.
Dr. Laura Gateley replaces her husband Kerry Gateley, who took a similar job in Virginia.
