25 Dogs Need Foster Homes ASAP as Shelter Works Toward No-Kill Agenda

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A couple of furry friends are looking for a couch, or floor, to crash on for the next few weeks.

As the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association works to become a no-kill shelter, they are looking for foster homes for about 25 dogs.

The initial idea is to foster, but the hope is that a family will fall in love and be willing to give a furry creature a forever home.

In the meantime, a foster family will be the best family for a deserving creature.

The goal is to get the process rolling by 6 p.m. Tuesday.
