UPDATE
DALLAS, W.Va. (AP) - A West Virginia postal worker who was shot at a Moundsville-area post office Friday has died from her wounds.

Lua Wolverton, 35, was pronounced dead at Ruby Memorial Hospital. Wolverton was the Post Master for the small community of Dallas.

Police have arrested 39-year-old Todd Dolin, who was found in Zanesville, Ohio. They plan to charge him with 1st degree murder in Wolverton's death.

Sheriff John Gruzinskas said Wolverton was shot twice at work, but was able to describe her attacker in a 911 call to police.

Gruzinskas said Wolverton and Dolin had a "familiar relationship," but did not elaborate.

ORIGINAL STORY
DALLAS, W.Va. (AP) - Police are searching for a gunman they say shot a female employee Friday afternoon at the Dallas Post Office in Marshall County.

Sheriff John Gruzinskas says the unidentified employee was wounded twice with shotgun blasts, then airlifted to a hospital in Morgantown for treatment.

He does not know her current condition but says she was able to call 911 and describe her attacker.

Police and federal postal inspectors are now hunting for 39-year-old Todd Dolin Jr. of the Moundsville area.

Gruzinskas says Dolin left the shotgun at the scene, but people should consider him armed and dangerous.

Anyone who sees him should call 911, not approach him.

Dolin is driving a maroon or dark purple quad-cab pickup with West Virginia plates reading 6U1184.

Another Unfortunate Life Lost Today May She Rest In Peace. My Prayers Go Out To Her Family. This is a letter i have sent and emailed to all our legislators that i could find the information on.My Thoughts and Prayers to all the victims of these violent crimes that were commited recently.WSAZ keep up the great work on free speach.Thank You --Most recent Violence in our great state-- Dear Sirs and Madams in light of the most recent violence in our great state Of West Virginia I truly think we need to consider instating the Death penalty. To Many innocent lives have been lost this past month from the Postal Clerk, Pastor at the shooting range ,to the Marshall football player, To the young lady that was chased stalked and killed in a closet at Taco bell. It’s time for a change. The judges that let these type of criminals back on the streets to commit again another crime against society should be removed from their benches.--I Urge you to VOTE this fall and write email or call them all Thanks
