HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Allegiant Air blames the high cost of fuel on its decision to cut local flights to one Florida airport.

The airline says it will end service to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from Tri-State Airport in Wayne County.

The last flight will leave on September 6th. Allegiant says the high cost of fuel is cutting into its budget and it doesn't have the money to continue the service.

Allegiant is also cutting flights at 12 other airports.

I agree with the two about the Dr shopping for the drugs on this flt. I know for a fact of several women going on this flt every two weeks to buy drugs. Down on Monday and back on Friday and the prescription pills would flow into this town...

How are the dope heads going to be able to go to Florida to get their oxys & roxys?

That flight is going to be missed. It is the only way I get to see my sister. It was cheap enough flights for me to afford to see her. I hope things change so I can spend time with her. It cost me way to much in gas and I don't like driving that long drive alone.
