FRIDAY @ 8:00am

NELSONVILLE, Ohio (WSAZ)-- Three Nelsonville teenagers are due in court this morning on bomb charges.

Bryson Cuthill, Roy Plant, II and Logan Clay have all been charged with manufacturing explosive devices and there are other, related charges.

Cuthill and Plant are 18 years old and Clay is 19.

Police say they've confessed to pipe-bombing a Nelsonville photo shop early yesterday.

They've also implicated a juvenile who was not at the scene.

Nelsonville Police are also reporting that two other bombs were detonated at Nelsonville Middle School and the Elks club.

Apparently the camera shop was selected at random.

UPDATE @ 4:00pm
The Ohio Department of Commerce says it has a suspect in custody in connection with an early morning explosion in Nelsonville.

It happened at Wilson's Studio and Camera Shop.

According to the news release, the suspect "made statements implicating himself in the incident."

His name has not been released yet.

The DOC says the device contained various types of nails and tacks, and appeared to be designed to cause property damage or hurt someone.

ORIGINAL STORY
From The Associated Press
NELSONVILLE, Ohio (AP) - The State Fire Marshal's office says an explosive device that damaged a southeast Ohio store early Thursday was meant to hurt someone or destroy property.

A camera shop in Nelsonville lost its front window in the blast, which came just before 3:30 a.m. No one was injured.

Spokesman Shane Cartmill with the Fire Marshal's office won't offer details about the type of device that exploded, though he says it contained shrapnel.

A man living about a half-block away heard the noise and called police.

Police Chief Mike Hunter says investigators don't have any motive or suspects.

Nelsonville is 55 miles southeast of Columbus.

This should be life in prison if found guilty. People like this can never be trusted again.
