HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ)-- A Huntington man has been sentenced to 40 months in a federal prison on bank robbery charges.

Back in March, 20-year-old Julian Tucker pleaded guilty to robbing the BB&T Bank branch on Hal Greet Boulevard. The bank robbery happened last November.

Police say that during the robbery, Tucker handed the clerk a note saying he had a gun. After the teller gave Tucker the money, he fled the bank on foot. He was later arrested by Huntington Police.

Beside the prison sentenced, Tucker was also ordered to pay back the $1,800 he stole during the robbery.
