Democratic Convention Speakers List Released
Three local politicians will be among those addressing the Democratic party in Denver next week.

DENVER, Colorado (WSAZ) -- Ohio Governor Ted Strickland, United States Senator Jay Rockefeller and West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin will all get prime time roles in the Democratic National Convention next week in Denver.
Strickland and Manchin will speak on Tuesday, August 26th -- the night that former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will be the headliner. The theme of the convention that night will be "Renewing America's Promise."
Rockefeller will join fellow Senators Joe Biden, Evan Bayh and John Kerry on Wednesday, August 27th on stage for the theme of "Securing America's Future." Former President Bill Clinton will speak that night and the featured speaker will be presumptive nominee Barack Obama's vice presidential choice.
The convention will run 5pm to 11pm Eastern Standard Time Monday through Thursday next week.
