UPDATE 9/7/06: Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies arrested Charles Lee Evans, Jr. early Thursday morning in St. Albans. Deputies say they caught him breaking into a house on Cane Fork Lane. For the overnight incident, Evans was charged with nightime burglary and destruction of property.

Police compare them to weapons of war. The chemicals used to make meth are highly explosive, and when placed in a moving car, deputies say the combination can be deadly. Now, they need your help to find a man accused of driving his own meth lab in and around Charleston.

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department has named Charles Lee Evans Jr. one of Charleston's Most Wanted. He's accused of not showing up to court to be sentenced for making meth. A sheriff's deputy pulled Evans over on a traffic stop back in 2004--and found the lab inside his car. Police say Evans could still be making meth.

"When a person drives around a mobile meth lab, essentially they're driving around a bomb on wheels,” said Lt. Sean Crosier with the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department. “This puts absolutely everyone in danger around them, including themselves."

Charles Lee Evans Jr. is 28 years old. His last known address is on Fairview Drive in St. Albans, but he used to live on Middle Drive and Kanawha Street in St. Albans.

If you have any information about Evans, call the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department at (304) 357-0169.
