IRONTON, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Ironton Mayor Rich Blankenship said a city police officer, whose name is being withheld, is under investigation.
Blankenship said the officer is on paid leave while the city and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation look into at least one citizen-fueled complaint. The city probe is looking at a possible policy violation, and the BCI will look into possible criminal action.
Blankenship said he hopes to have some conclusive findings by the end of the week.
