LONDON, KY (WSAZ)-A grandmother, whose 2 year old grandson was found dead inside her locked car, faces reckless homicide charges.
Police say Linda Long left her grandson, Madison Nose, inside her
sports utility vehicle while she was at work at St. Joseph
Hospital Friday. Temperatures were in the low 80s.
Lt. Walker says Long was supposed to drop the child off at daycare
on her way to work but forgot.
Laurel County Coroner Douglas Bowling says the toddler died of
hypothermia.
Reckless homicide is a felony punishable by 10 to 20 years in
prison. A grand jury will determine whether to indict Long on
Monday.
