Another Industrial Fire in Nitro

Police say a tractor trailer started the fire near the AC&S Tank Wash Plant. This is at an industrial park in Nitro, near where a large tire fire was last month.

The truck apparently hit a pole, knocking off a power transformer. That transformer fell onto a 250 gallon fuel tank on the plant's property, igniting in flames.

Police say the fire burned down two office trailers. Crews had to shut off the power in this industrial park while crews worked on the downed power lines.

Emergency workers told us that a warehouse near this fire has flammable materials inside. No one was hurt.

Abrachem: which is the truck driver's employer: is based out of Clifton, New Jersey. The company says it hasn't seen a report yet - but they do have insurance that will cover any damage costs.

Members of the fire department say they will review surveillance tapes to take a look at what exactly happened when those transformers fell.
