A homeowner had just left for work Tuesday when she got the call to come back home because a car drove into her house.
Technically, it was more of the garage of the house. This happened around 10:30 on Garden Lane. It's in a sub-division of East Pea Ridge in Huntington.
Two women were in the car when it hit the house. The driver is a 22-year-old who told police she doesn't even remember driving into the home.
But neighbors in the area could hear it loud and clear. They say it sounded like a loud thump.
Vince Anderson said, "It looked like someone was in the driveway. And maybe put the car in forward instead of reverse. It was more than that. Someone driven up the side of the house and through the house. It was quite impressive really."
Both women in the car had only minor injuries. No one was home at the time of this accident.
