Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a drowning at a swimming pool in Cross Lanes.
Police say an elderly man drowned in his own pool. A maintenance worker found his body just after 12pm Wednesday. It happened on Kens Lane, just off Beechcrest Drive.
Deputies say the man just returned home from vacation last night and it appears he was trying to clean the pool, when he fell in.
Police do not believe foul play was involved.
