A man from Portsmouth, Ohio, is behind bars, charged with hitting his baby with a hammer.
Police arrested Greg Masters Tuesday evening.
The baby's mother told police that she was holding their baby when masters grabbed a hammer and told her "Move the baby, I'm going to knock your brains out."
According to reports, Masters then punched her in the face and struck their four-month-old baby girl with a hammer.
Police say the baby is okay.
Masters has been charged with felonious assault and domestic violence.
He's currently in the Scioto County jail.
