Cracking down on drug crime.
State Police offered evidence of how much it's been able to collect from accused drug dealers around West Virginia.
They displayed about a million dollars worth of drugs and weapons.
And it's only part of the nearly six million dollar haul.
Troopers gave some of the credit to Governor Joe Manchin who was on hand for the announcement Friday.
Lieutenant Dave Lemmon of the West Virginia State Police said, "He asked me -- can we do better? I said yes we can. And then whenever I saw him after that, he said who are you arresting today? What are you getting done?"
State Police plan to expand enforcement starting next month.
The state is spending a million dollars more on the project.
