A 14-year-old eastern Kentucky boy was killed early Sunday morning when the scooter he was riding collided with a car.
According to state police, Hubert Anderson IV of Sidney was riding his scooter on U.S. Route 119 when he was hit by a car driven by David Davis.
The accident happened just after four in the morning.
Police said Davis was rounding a curve at the time and attempted to stop before striking Anderson.
Anderson died at the scene.
The accident is still under investigation.
No charges have been filed.
