Appalachian Power Park was just one of the places that had to cancel fireworks Tuesday night.

The storms emptied out the park and forced officials to cancel the scheduled fireworks.

No word yet if the firework displays will be rescheduled.

A lot of fans headed to that game were expecting fireworks of a different kind.

That's after a tantrum that made national headlines when a Minor League baseball manager went nuts after what he thought was a bad call.

Joe Mikulik was in Charleston Tuesday for his first game since being suspended.

His team from North Carolina took on the Power, but unlike the week before, most of the colorful characters at the Power's game were all in the stands.

But after fans saw Mikulik blow up last week at a game in Lexington they were prepared for anything.

Mikulik said the bottom line is he was just standing up for his players and that sometimes emotions simply build up in baseball.

He said, "Sometimes when you do things 75 percent of it's for the fans. Never a personal attack against the umpires. A lot of it's for entertainment ."

Mikulik was suspended for a week and fined a thousand dollars.

He stayed calm throughout the Power game and says he can handle all the heckling.
