POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- It’s been almost a year since the murder of Marshall University student Leah Hickman. No one has been arrested yet.

Her family and friends are still looking for answers. On November 22, they will hold a 5K walk/run in Point Pleasant to raise money for the Leah Hickman Scholarship Fund. They also want to remind everyone that nothing has been solved yet.

The walk will start at 10 a.m. underneath the bridge and make its way through the city.

It's inexcusable that this crime has not been solved. Bumbling idiots in charge is the only plausable explanation.

I am still keeping the Hickman family in my prayers. I know it must be so heartbreaking for them waiting for so long with no suspect behind bars and no resolution. God Bless!

It's been almost a year now and they haven't arrested anyone? Are they still keeping an eye on their supposed suspects as they have claimed? Surely by now, all the DNA testing must be back so why haven't they arrested this "person of interest" or suspect? Her parents deserve an answer I agree. HPD still claiming the DNA isn't all back? Come on people! Other cases (at least not here in H'ton who is notorious for not solving murders period) don't take a YEAR to get DNA evidence back so they need to find a new story/lie! They'll NEVER arrest anyone or solve it because they don't know how, just like they haven't solved the murders of those four young people years ago and others. My heart aches for her parents as a parent myself, I can't imagine the pain they're in knowing whoever killed their daughter is free and enjoying life! I hope a lot of folks participate in the walk to honor her memory with the s'ship Come on HPD, find & arrest her kille SOON!
