Update on Tuesday
SOUTH WEBSTER, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini announced Tuesday that Timothy Reese had stolen property on him at the time of his shooting death.
Reese was shot Sunday morning after a confrontation with a man who the sheriff said caught him breaking into his car.
Tuesday, Donini said residents down the road from the shooting came forward to stake claim to the property found on Reese Sunday morning. Donini said they appear to be victims of a home invasion, but didn't notice the missing items until later.
The sheriff says they are preparing the case for a review by a grand jury, but are continuing to investigate the shooting as self-defense.

SOUTH WEBSTER, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A man attempting to break into a car Sunday morning was shot and killed.
Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini says his office is investigating the shooting death of Timothy L. Reese. He was a 21 years and from South Webster.
The shooting happened around 4:00 Sunday morning outside a home near the Scioto-Jackson County line.
Sheriff Donini says Reese was shot after a confrontation with a resident who had caught him attempting to break into a car. According to the police report, a confrontation took place and the resident fired a gun at Reese.
Deputies say they believe this was a case of self-defense, but advise the case is still under investigation. All the evidence will be presented to The Scioto County Grand Jury.
