Train Hits Tractor Trailor
A CSX Transportation train bound from Parkersburg to Huntington has hit a semi-tractor trailer on route 2 near Kyle Lane in Cabell County. This happened around 7:30am. All roads remain open.
The driver was taken to St. Mary’s to be check out. His Identity and condition is not known at this time.
One of our e-reporters just sent us pictures of the accident site.

The tractor trailer was on its way to get a load of lime stone. The train hit the trailer only sending it 13 car lengths down the tracks. It appears that the driver was trying to beat the train. However, He says he did not see the train. The train was traveling at 10 miles and hour.
