CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Charleston Police are investigating a robbery in a hotel gambling room in which the suspects asked the victims if they've ever been robbed, then pulled a gun.
It happened Tuesday night at about 11:00 p.m. at the Keno gaming room at the Embassy Suites in Charleston.
According to detectives, two men walked up to two people in the room and asked if they've ever been robbed. The victims thought the men were joking and said no.
Police say the suspects then told the victims they were being robbed. One of the suspects pulled out a gun and loaded a round into the chamber. They were only able to get a wallet from one of the victims.
The suspects then took off in an unknown direction.
If you have any information about the crime, contact Detective D.S. Paxton at (304) 348-6480.
