The waiting is finally over as union members at the Tri-State Racetrack agree to a new contract.
Members of the United Steelworkers of America voted for a new three-year contract with Tri-State Racetrack and Gaming Center. The contract was ratified by the rank and file membership.
Union members and the Tri-State Racetrack struggled for weeks to come to an agreement over health benefits and pay.
The new contract went into effect 12:01 a.m. Wednesday.
