Police in Kanawha County are on a manhunt for a car jacker. Dispatchers tell us the suspect hijacked a car at gunpoint at the Rite Aid on MacCorkle Avenue in Charleston and held the driver hostage. However, we're told the woman was able to jump from the car.
Dispatchers tell us they believe the suspect is also connected to a robbery at the CVS in Montgomery earlier Wednesday. The suspect is driving a 1991 mint green Ford Taurus. If you have any information, you're asked to call police immediately.
