A murder suspect told a jury Thursday she was behind the wheel in a hit and run death that happened in Huntington.
However, Terri Castle said that it was all an accident.
Castle took the witness stand during the fourth day of her trial.
She tried to convince the jury she should not spend the rest of her life in prison.
Castle ran over Lana Hanson in June of last year, and prosecutors says she did it on purpose because Hanson stole drug money.
Castle says she was following Hanson because of an attempted robbery, but she says she didn't see Hanson in front of the car when it happened.
Castle says she left to the scene to go to a pay phone but then panicked and didn't call 911.
A verdict in this case was expected Thursday afternoon.
