Young Agent

Lots of kids dream of being the next pop singer, or rock and roll star. One Charleston teen wants to work in the music industry just behind the scenes.

It’s been a project he saw through until the lights dimmed, and the musician took the stage.

It's a dream he's making a reality. At just 18-years-old Nathaniel Smalley planed, promoted and financed this concert. Learning the ropes of a career, behind the scenes in music, and all on his own.

Nathaniel’s wish was to have Frank Cirtelli play in Charleston. They had never met, but did work together on another one of Nathaniel’s business ventures. Much to his surprise, the person who negotiated his contract and got people to come out to this event had just graduated from high school.

A small milestone in what some believe will be a big career.

Ambition that's getting the show on the stage and a career set into motion.
