Workers reached a tentative agreement with Century Aluminum in Jackson County, WV, Tuesday. This means that they will not strike.
The proposed deal is for 36 months. Workers will vote this Friday.
Century Aluminum workers planned to strike as of midnight. Workers voted down an offer last week. The sticking point was a change to the health plan. The company says any strike could affect the future of this facility in Jackson County, West Virginia.
