Researchers say there's a possible link between teen violence to watching professional wrestling.

A recent survey indicates teens who watched wrestling were more likely to behave violently and in some cases, carry weapons and fight while on dates.

The report did offer up some surprising information.

Girls seemed to be more influenced toward violence by watching wrestling than boys.

According to statistics, girls had a 170 percent higher chance of starting a fight on a date after watching two weeks of wrestling.

The data was based on information collected seven years ago and is published in this month's issue of Pediatrics.
