Allana Bowyer opened her convenience store to provide a local shopping option for the people who live in Pratt.
But an idea she was once excited about is now a source of major frustration.
Since it's opening in December it's been the scene of three burglaries.
Bowyer estimates she's lost $10,000 in business.
Pratt's Police Chief and Mayor says they are using all of their resources to curb crime.
Chief Ann Neese says police patrols are random in the town, and that is one reason why she believes crime this summer is actually down.
She says two people have been arrested for the burglary at the store earlier this week.
