Two Michigan men are being held in a southeast Ohio jail on charges of laundering money in support of terrorism.
Authorities say they found airplane passenger lists and information on airport security checkpoints in the car of Osama Sabhi Abulhassan and Ali Houssaiky. They were pulled over for a traffic violation on Tuesday in Marietta, Ohio.
Officers also found 11-thousand dollars in cash and 12 phones in
Authorities say the men admitted buying about 600 phones in recent months at stores in southeast Ohio. A prosecutor declined to say how the phones, cash or flight information involved terrorism.
The two men are being held on a 200-thousand dollar bond and are
set to appear in court today.
