Putnam General Admitting Patients Again

Putnam General Hospital seems to be complying with an injunction that's designed to keep the hospital from closing at the end of the month. That means the hospital is now admitting patients again.

The hospital stopped taking patients last month when administrators announced it was shutting down, but last week a judge issued an injunction to keep the hospital from closing.
This injunction will stay in effect until a hearing august 23.

Charleston Area Medical Center is in the process of buying Putnam General for 15 million dollars.
However, the sale is not yet final.
