Hollywood comes to Huntington FIRST! Keith Spears, Senior Vice President at Marshall University, announced Wednesday that the Hollywood premiere of “We Are Marshall” will take place in Huntington before Hollywood this December.

This announcement came at Wednesday's Paint the Capital City Green event. Spears also said Marshall fans at the home football game against Hofstra on September 9th will be treated to the debut of the movie trailer on the scoreboard.

September 2nd is fast approaching WVU and the Herd clash in Morgantown.

It's a sure sign college football is around the corner Charleston takes on a green tint.

It's become a routine in mid-august hundreds of Marshall Fans converge on the capital city to flash the green and white. A little gathering they call "Paint the Capital City Green".

It's a chance for Marshall to take its show on the road to the Kanawha Valley where thousands of Marshall Alumni reside.

The Embassy Suites decked out in Kelly Green and White and dignitaries like Charleston Mayor Danny Jones and Governor Joe Manchin made it out for the occasion. For Mark Snyder and his football program this provides a perfect opportunity to spread the word on the herd.
