Speculation around what happened to JonBenet Ramsey continues tonight. John Karr is still in custody in Thailand where he was arrested Wednesday. He has confessed to killing the six year old although plenty of questions still remain.

Until now it was the Ramsey family who was often under suspicion and Patsy Ramsey is from Parkersburg. We learn what her friends from there are now saying.

Linda McLean was patsy Ramsey’s pageant coach when she won the Miss West Virginia pageant in 1977, and she has continues to stay very close with the Ramsey family.

John has asked friends not to rush to judge because that's what happened to him. Looks like a Wiesel. I can't imagine why you would say that if you didn't do it.

McLean’s not only glad there's been an arrest, but says more importantly she's happy the public will hear the truth.

Since the arrest McLean has spoken with patsy's sister Pam.

She said, “Isn’t it ironic, she died and a month later they track him down, maybe she was able to do some magic up there.”

Linda McClain wrote a book about Patsy it's called "JonBenet’s mother, the tragedy and the truth".
She says she did ask the Ramsey’s if they would sit through a trial. They said they hadn't thought that far ahead yet.
