MARTIN, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A woman was sent to the hospital Monday after the ATV she was driving hit a coal truck on Route 122 in Martin, Kentucky.

Kentucky State Police say Kimberly Collins was operating a stolen 2002 Honda ATV Monday afternoon and pulled out in front of a coal truck. The accident happened around 4:30 p.m.

Collins went to Cabell Huntington Hospital with undisclosed injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.

The KSP says the accident and the stolen property are both under investigation. No charges have been filed.

this is too dumb to even comment about. stolen or not this is why atvs have no place on a public roadway, lines or no lines.

Thats like bringing a knife to a gunfight!!!!!!!!!!!At least if you steal something, look both ways before proceeding across the road. Glad that it wouldn't worse than it was.
