A teenager from Putnam County is in stable condition after falling off of a moving car. It happened Sunday afternoon off route 62 in Poca. State police say a 15-year-old boy was “car surfing” when he fell off and hit his head.
The young man was unconscious when emergency crews arrived. He was transported to Charleston, where authorities say his injuries are life threatening.
Car surfing is the act of riding outside of a vehicle while it is moving.
