Take Back America Rally

The very reasons Steel of West Virginia workers have hit the picket lines are the same reasons people in Charleston are rallying Saturday. They say they want to take back America.

He hasn't even graduated from college yet, but clearly- Justin Carpenter's focus is on the future.

"Before we know it we are going to be in the workforce and we are going to have some of these same jobs people out here today, and it's important the middle class isn't forgotten and we've got good livable wages for all people of West Virginia," said Carpenter.

They are wages some workers say they are losing each and every day.

Health care coverage, pension protection, and job security are all reasons people were standing up.

And the people who will want jobs in the future, are taking a stand before their time.

It's a future they're hoping holds more promise than they see today.

The event on Saturday was sponsored by the AFL-CIO.
