A major drug sweep us underway in Huntington.
City and State Police are targeting crack dealers in the Fairfield West neighborhood.
Police are calling this "Operation Moneyton", because there's so much money to be made in the drug business in Huntington.
There are plans to serve more than 60 drug warrants before the day is over.
In all, more than 100 officers from the two departments are in swat gear, rounding up suspected dealers and users.
Huntington's Chief of Police says he hopes "Operation Moneyton" will send a strong message in the fight on drugs.
West Virginia Gov. Joe Manchin (D-WV) is also addressing the drug problem. He commended officers for their efforts today to go after these dealers.
Today's arrests are the results of several weeks worth of undercover buys to pinpoint where the drug sales are happening.
