The US Postal Service is expanding its facility in Charleston and hiring more than a hundred new workers.
The remote encoding center in Charleston will now take over processing mail from North Carolina and South Carolina.
Charleston's remote encoding center now employs 350 data conversion workers at the main post office.
The new jobs will pay 12 dollars and 63 cents an hour.
People have already started to apply.
