911 Dispatchers say things are getting back to normal at the Clearon Plant in Ordinance Park.
The South Charleston plant was evacuated around 5:30am Thursday morning when smoke was spotted coming from the building.
A company spokesperson says there was a chemical reaction to a waste product that was stored in a drum. It did contain some chlorine.
However, we're told there was no detectable amount of chlorine outside of the facility. We're told the employees are now allowed to return to work. No one was hurt.
