About 1,200 employees of the state Capitol Complex got a little fresh air Thursday morning.
Buildings Five, Six and Seven were evacuated after an odd odor was detected in Building Five.
Because the buildings are connected, employees of all three are always asked to leave in emergency situations.
Department of Administration spokeswoman Diane Holley says the fire department gave the all clear for the employees to return to
work after about 15 to 30 minutes.
Luckily for the workers, it wasn't raining during their time outside.
Holley wasn't sure about the origin of the odor.
