Doctor Indicted
A former Point Pleasant doctor was indicted for illegally distributing pain pills. Breton Morgan is accused of illegally getting samples of hydrocodone from several pharmaceutical companies.
Court records also allege Dr. Morgan was "seriously addicted" to narcotics, and was writing prescriptions to get medication for himself.
Morgan surrendered his medical license in April. Before that he worked at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant.
