One man is dead after a weekend plane crash in eastern Kentucky.
It happened in Dorton near Shelby Gap in Pike County. Kentucky State Police say 65-year-old Rush Bradford of Murphy, North Carolina, was the pilot and was the only person on board.
Bradford took off from Brasstown, North Carolina, and was headed for Big Sandy Regional Airport in Inez, Kentucky.
It took rescue crews about a day to find the plane in the rugged terrain.
