A hazing incident involving the Wellston, Ohio, police department may result in criminal charges.
Wellston Police Chief John Hall says three veteran police officers were suspended for 30 days back in early June.
Hall says they played a practical joke on a cadet.
WSAZ NewsChannel 3 has learned the cadet suffered some injuries.
The Jackson County prosecutor says he's waiting for a final report from state criminal investigators before deciding on the next step.
