MOST WANTED: William Wilbur Mullins, III

UPDATE 9/6/06: Your tips helped police track down William Wilbur Mullins, III, Wednesday. It turns out he was already in jail in the another part of the state, but police here didn't know it. He's currently in the Central Regional Jail.

SEPTEMBER 5, 2006-- It's safe to say we've all gotten in an argument or two with a family member. But police say one man's anger got out of hand after a fight with his brother--and they need your help to find him.

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department has named William Wilbur Mullins III one of Charleston's Most Wanted. He also goes by "Billy," He's charged with burglary. Police say Mullins admitted to relatives that he broke into his brother's apartment on Winding Hill Road in Sissonville in August.

Court records say Mullins ransacked the apartment.. destroying electronics and furniture. When the victim approached Mullins about the incident---he told him quote: "I am not replacing anything I tore up."

"Burglary is such a terrible invasion of privacy crime. In this case, it's brother against brother," said Lt. Sean Crosier with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department. "Family members should be there to support each other, not to steal from each other."

William Wilbure Mullins III is 31 years old. His last known address is on Hawes Drive in Malden, but police believe he could be staying at local hotels. He also drives a black 4-door 1999 Ford Explorer.
