Hollywood comes back to town Friday to re-shoot the important board room scene on Marshall University's campus.
This scene covers the university leaders being told how important it is to continue the football program. It stars David Strathairn and Anthony Mackie and it's pretty intense, but the director decided it needed to be re-shot.
Now, extras are being contacted to once again step back in.
Kelly Simmons spent a lot of time rounding up some of the extras who worked in the board room scene. Simmons says it was difficult.
Back in April, filmmakers used a room in the Morrow Library for the board room scene but Thursday they'll use studio "A" in the Communications Building.
Filmmakers plan to shoot crowd shots when Marshall plays Hofstra Saturday. Halftime is expected to be one to remember on the video board.
We're told the director wants to re-shoot the scene to improve the film quality. The re-shoot will start 9:00 Friday morning in studio "A" in the Communications Building.
You're urged to call the Marshall Movie hotline at 304-696-7153 if you have any questions.
