Shot Truck Driver Speaks

He tried to do the right thing but what he got in return is a bullet lodged in his spine!

Today we got a chance to hear from the trucker who was shot and robbed after he tried to help a stranded woman.

Tomblin comments, “I don't know if I’ll ever stop to help anyone again.”

Not only has the incident changed Randy Tomblin's outlook on helping people, he may never be able to walk or work again!

Randy Tomblin said, “I don't even know if I'll ever be able to work again thanks to them. Now here I am messed up I can't work I don't know what I'm going to do I've got bills to pay and a family to support "

The man and woman involved in the crime were driving a dark colored Ford Taurus with Michigan plates.

Tomblin is recovering at Health South Rehabilitation Center.
