SEPTEMBER 7, 2006--Deputies say he owes thousands of dollars in child support, and didn't show up to face a judge. The victims in this case: his three children. Police need your help to find this father.

The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department has named Timothy Edward Roberts one of Charleston's Most Wanted. He's accused of not showing up for a hearing with family court. Records show Roberts owes nearly $30,000 to his three children. This case goes back to 2004.

Now, there's a warrant out for Roberts' arrest. Deputies want to send a message to parents: pay up or go to jail.

"Failing to pay child support is more than a responsibility, it's the role of a parent," said Lt. Sean Crosier with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department. "We can only hope now that the children aren't suffering financially and that they have some other means of support."

Timothy Edward Roberts is 41 years old. His last known address is on West Main Street in St. Albans. Call the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department at (304) 357-0169 if you have any information about Roberts.
